Steve and Joan's Property

I wanted to show you some of the fun things we do at "Grandma Joan's Mountain." It's located in Fairview, Sanpete County, at the Skyline Mountain Resort 3 1/2 miles up the canyon from the gate. They have approximately six acres to hike and play in. There is an upper camping area which is more open and a lower camping area down in the trees. Down at the main resort there are a lot amenities such as golfing, swimming, tennis and basketball. Up in the canyon are trails galore for four-wheelers, motorcycles and mountain biking.

If you would like to bring a camping trailer or tent trailer, they have electricity for you to hook into. They do not have water or grass but you can fill your trailer with water down at the gate. We bring our own water bottles to drink. There is plenty of places for tents out in the open and in the trees. There is a bowery with lights to eat at, a swing set for the younger kids, plenty of room to play games (volleyball, tether ball, soccer, etc..) and trees to hide away in. They have two volcano cookers for the dutch ovens, two camp chef stoves and a two firepits for marshmallows. One of my kids favorite things to do is to have a treasure hunt. The older boys (I'm talking about you, Brad) love to play "Airsoft Wars" down in the trees at the lower camping area. It's beautiful and peaceful up there. There is plenty for all to do and I hope it's something that will be fun for all.
